They're exactly the same. A TON is a TON no matter what the item is. That doesn't mean they have the same mass and density though.
Are there people here who just sit around all day clicking "BAD ANSWER"? How can you give me a negative vote for a true and correct response?

A ton of weights can be heavier than a ton of feathers when there is gravity, but when these objects are in free fall, then they will have the same weight.

Well, I think you should call Ripley's and stage a test to see which weighs more - a ton of feathers or a ton of weights.

they weigh the same as everyone with more than a couple of brain cells can calculate. however if you drop them both from a good height the weights would hit the ground first due to size and therefore more aerodynamic

it is impossible to answer as you have not specified what conditions both are weighed in as if it is in a hot room the the weights if metal will expand and as you all know more (EG) metal = more weight
feathers in a warm room may be caught in a warm current and be lifted
its all down to physics really
