Explorer keeps telling me that all the sites that I visit have a bad security certificate. I could see that be a reality if it were one site but not everyone of them. I had to use Opera to even log into use this service. I have visited Explorer help and it claims that all the sites must be bad. Any help? I use Windows Vista.

My own personal experience is that Microsoft updates all the latest "Security Certificates. Suggest you go to start, Microsoft Updates and allow Microsoft to scan your pc for all critical and non critical updates.

You should find them under the non critical updates and then install.

Do not even think about disabling warnings, those warnings indicate something is seriously wrong.

The possible causes are numerous. You may have better luck paying a trusted computer technician to look at it and likely fix it within an hour than to try to fix this on your own.

A shortlist of possible problems...
- Your IE is mis-configured somehow.
- Your IE certificate storage could have been damaged.
- Your Vista mgith have been compromised. Even with its improved security, you could still have clicked to allow some exploit to be installed.
- You could be under a phishing attack which may or may not reside on your computer. If the exploit isn't running on your machine, your upstream Internet gateway or provider could have been compromised.

Considering each possibility and troubleshooting is generally beyond what the casual User can do by oneself but should be extremetly simple for a competent IT guy.

You can disable the warnings but i don't remember how.
Google will help you.
I don't use Vista or Windows XP at the moment.
