It's more like a danio. The pictures i have seen of the danio This fish was'nt as long. But about the same shape. I would say right now its maybe about a half inch in size.

Could you describe the shape a little more? (long and thin like a danio, tall and falt side to side like a gourami, whiskers like a catfish, etc.) What was the size?

ADDITION: You may have seen a juvenile turquoise danio that got mixed in by mistake: http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_Display.cfm?pCatId=948

mixed fruit tetras are artificially dyed and lose their cute colors fairlly quickly -- leaving people with a boring fish when they wanted something hot pink.

i am not quite sure what fish is blue. of the top of my head some african cichlids and rainbows are blue. blue gouramis are blue.

if you are looking for brightly colored community fish please consder some female bettas. they are bred in really great colors and you can have a shoal of them in a community tank without any problems. they stay smaller than most fish and make a great color display.

hmm im not sure what it was...with the exception of the blue part, sounds like a glofish which is just a genetically altered danio...the "red" ones look more pink
