kelly saw eight different people submit game scores, and realized there was a pattern in the scores they were submitting:

408, 571, 332, 377, 577, 989, 664, ___

What was the eighth score submitted?

577 / 408 = pretty close to sqrt(2)
989 / 571 = pretty close to sqrt(3)
664 / 332 = exactly sqrt(4)

Expecting x/377 to be about sqrt(5), I get x = 842.9976, so I would pick 843.

Not sure that comparing the first four and last four terms of the series is the way to go, and it gives little clue as to why the first four numbers were chosen.
