Are most liberals behind (or support) the censorship of media?
For example: Banning violent video games, cleaning up "foul language" on radio and TV, and enforcing age restrictions for purchasing explict music.
If not, who is?

I don't think this breaks down on liberal/conservative lines. Tipper Gore wanted the age restrictions on CDs, but the Religious Right wanted foul language prohibited from the airwaves. Some feminists, who might be considered leftists, are opposed to pornography, as they claim that it "objectifies" women. I don't know about the video games, but the whole thing looks like a mixed bag of concerned parents, those people who feel victimized, and uptight prudes.

Both parties are to blame.... (Notice I said parties not "liberal" - "conservative"...)
Every college campus bans racial slurs and what they classify as "hate" speech. (Democrats)
Limiting violence on TV, video games, limiting "crude" language. (Republican)
Of coarse the cream of the crop at the moment is the Democrat push for the "Fairness doctrine" which is suppression of the media at it's most blatant.
The reason I list the parties, is that the ONE thing all liberal and conservative people should have in common is the desire for unabated free speech.

Most liberals are the opposite. Left wingers want know regulation at all unless they help there causes. The media is liberal so not controlled Peace

The religious right is usually responsible for banning sex and language and liberals want to ban stuff that's violent and not politically correct.

Is Bush a liberal? He censored the FCC when he took office and put Colin Powells son Mike in charge of that! And also the Christian coalition is in on it and hey I really don't see nothing wrong with some censorship

it is not a liberal or conservative thing it is a Parent thing...no one wants to be the bad guy anymore...instead of limiting and watching thier brood they would rather we censor things so they do not have to deal with it...heaven forbid they should have to teach...correct...and talk to thier kids about life as it is today.
