I'm 7 weeks pregnant and last night after having a bowel movement (sorry tmi) I noticed a really light brown (almost tan) color mixed in with my normal vaginal discharge when I wiped, I only noticed it that one time and haven't noticed it anymore since. I haven't had any cramps or anything either. Should I be concerned?

This is a stressful thing to happen, I know. I had it happen several times during my first trimester. My doctor told me that several pregnancies have this happen as well and as long as it isn't constant bleeding not to be worried. I was always worried. However, as soon as I entered my second trimester it all stopped, which is what my doc said would happen. So while this is probably normal, ask your doc at you next appt. or call the nurse line. Just know that you are not alone in going through this and that your baby is probably just fine. Good Luck!!

Spotting although not normal is very common. 1/2 of all pregnancy's that bleed dont miscarry. Spotting can be caused by many thin gs and sometimes no reason can be found. My 1st pregnancy i spotted brown for a week and miscarried. This time from 4-7 weeks i spotted brown and pink and then at 7 weeks i lost a lot of red blood , had a scan 5 days later and baby was fine. Call your midwife or doctor and mention it

It is probably implantation bleeding-specially if it is brownish in color. I would not get concerned unless it is bright red bleeding followed with cramps!!!!!GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
