Whoever purchased the travelers check has to sign the front of the check. No one else can deposit the check unless the purchaser signs the check over to them. If someone else bought the check, I recommend you BOTH go to the bank together and ask them how to handle the check.

You have to endorse it on the back like this: "Only to de beposited in the account number ______ of ______ in the Bank ____________ ".
Don't forget to put your name or the name of the beneficiary and the second sign on the front of each check

If it is your check then make it payable to the bank and sign on the front. If it is payable to you then endorse on the back like a regular check.

On the back side. Sometimes they have a line, if not just endorse it near one of the short sides.
