Unless you live in a warm area those fuschias will die at the first cold snap. It is the tough price e pay for living in northern areas.

Here in Devon U.K. they are the hardest working plant ever!They flower year after year and are often stiil flowering in December,one of our coldest months

Depends where you live. Here in Wisconsin they are annuals, like lantana, while in Florida they may be perennials.
