DON'T MARRY HIM. Find yourself a good man. If you meant him on the internet, DON'T TALK TO HIM AGAIN. More than likely he'll just use you. I wish you'd said WHY he's in prison. It doesn't really matter, because it's serious enough for him to BE in prison. HE's INNOCENT too, right? He said he's innocent, right? RUN HARD AND RUN FAST, and do NOT have any more contact with him. If you email me and tell me what kind of stuff he tells you, I could help you more. I would NEVER think of writing to a prisoner or contacting one on the internet (if you did). They know how to manipulate you to think they are innocent and mistreated and they love you...... Especially if you've told him things like if you have a job, if you make good money or whatever.... They will con you more. What does your mom or relatives say about it? PLEASE LISTEN TO THEM AND ME. I sure would like it if you email me to let me know what you decide. Take care.

You are soooo making a huge mistake! If you were to look up at the statistics, when men are in prison, they have a whole lot more chances of having women wait for them. However, on the other hand, how many men do you know would sacrifice themselves and "wait" for their wife/gf to come out of jail????

If this man cares for you, he would ask you to wait, until he gets out. (if ever).

The ONLY reason an inmate may have a reason to get married would be for the conjugal visits, to use you!!! Have you considered the consequences, if you were to get pregnant?

More important, why did he divorce his wife? Why was she not willing to wait for her husband or get a divorce?

Ask the prison

I suppose you could ask the prison, but why do you want to commit to someone in prision? Life is too short to share with someone that can't share, especially if he is in for the long haul.

There's no accounting for who we fall in love with, but how is it you can fall in love with someone in prison. I question how loyal and trusted this relationship can possibly be.

Oh! This such a bad idea, honey. Men in prison often form relationships and swear they love you, just so that when they get out of prison they can say they have family to live with and support them. As soon as they are out and on their own, he'll dump you....or worse. Please don't marry him until he is out of prison, supporting himself and willing to support you, too. Then, if you truly feel he's reformed, marry him. But, please wait until then.

assuming you are serious ...

if not seek professional help, you have serious relationship issues.
