You simply can't decide to "make a movie" and not have an idea. You'll never have the passion and drive to make a good one if you take another person's idea. Instead, think about it for a while, then let the ideas come. Once they do, you can pick and choose them. I'd also recommend talking to another person who you really trust and find relatively artistic. Bounce ideas off this person.
The simple thing is, don't take another's idea- it'll never work for you the way your own will.

How about a movie where this planet is visited by aliens who unlike sci-fi movies are violent, but aliens who are friendly and helpful. They provided solutions to, Global Warming, Alternative Energy, Transportation, Medicine, Religion Violence, etc, etc.
