i have circle pool 5 feet deep 130 feet perimeter need square footage of wall.

BOTTOM Area = radius sq times pi

WALL area is what the guy above me said its the area of the wall


the bottom area is the pool bottom

your radius is the permiter divided by pi which is 3.14, divided by two

5 feet x 130 feet = 650 square feet.

Should I remind people that he is only asking for the square footage of the wall. It's just like a rectangle that is 130 feet long and 5 feet high. Surface area of a rectangle is length x height!

divide the perimeter by pi to get diameter, divide that by 2 to get the radius. then pi x (radius squared) is the area of the bottom part. the 650 feet people are giving you is just the wall. so add that to the area of the bottom circle

The area of the bottom of the pool will be (3.14)xr^2, with r being half the diameter of the pool. Then for the wall surface area, you'll need to use 6.28xrxheight. Add the two together, and you have the total surface area of the walls and floor.
