Just read the sad news that Jessie Davis has been found dead. Is anyone really surprised that the married boyfriend is being charged with 2 counts of murder? I'm very sad for the family but not shocked by the developments.

Yeah, I thought from the begining it was a very weird set up and to do that in front of your own child and then leave him alone in the house for like 24 hrs or more - sick!

I wasn't surprised either. I wonder why?

I'd like to know how a single woman with 1 1/2 kids was able to afford such a large house.

Why didn't the boy say his father was there?

Weird!

I think everyone's first thought was ---oh the boyfriend did it... but i was really suprised that the news did not dig deeper into why the guy was married with a baby by her, and another on the way, also believe to be his. I guess that they were trying to keep people emotions out of it if she was his on going mistress. But I dont think that it would have mattered. A missing prenant woman is still a victim, even if she did it with a married man. He on the other hand, is sickening to me. I really wonder if his wife had something to do it, and is weird as it sounds am interested in seeing what details of this case come out in the near future. I am just sorry that the man couldnt keep his hands off of her, and had to kill the child as well..and then leave his own son home alone, having seen at least some of it...since he told the cops that mommy was crying, mommy broke the table..mommy's in a rug! what a horrible thing. what kind of man is able to kill the mother of his child in front of his baby boy..and then go on about his life like nothing was wrong. I dont think there is a punishment fit for something like this. Nothing that any human could do to him would make him feel the pain he cas caused her, her son or her family.

Sadly, no I'm not at all surprised. I know the murder rate for pregnant women is very high- can't remember the exact statistic, but I remember hearing it during the Scott Peterson trial. Why do these monsters think that they can get away with this? It's usually ALWAYS the 'significant other'. Too many women being murdered and raped every day- if this amount of violent crime was being committed against men, this country would be screaming bloody murder. Yeah, yeah, I know- gang shootings, stabbings, etc., etc., etc. I'm not making light of these men against men murders, I'm just saying that when a woman is murdered, it's usually not because she was part of a gang war- it's because she is vulnerable. I also DO NOT understang how a man can murder his unborn child.

Unfortunately no. He has 3 children including the poor unborn baby and a child support order against him. He has had numerous problems with women-he had an affair with Jessie even though he's still married and has 2 children with her. He's a jerk and should be put on death row. We all make mistakes in life but it doesn't justify her dying and her unborn baby dying. May they R.I.P!

I am not surprised!! I thought that since day one, June 15. Bobby turned himself in & confessed. He also told the authorities where to find the body. I live in the area where all this took place.

At all I had a feeling that it was him. First of all there was no force entry into her house and second why didnt they harm the 2 yr old? I knew it had to be her BF. Very sad!

I was pretty sure from the beginning it was him, but then I thought to myself that a father wouldn't leave his two year old alone though. Guess I was wrong.

Not surprised just from what the little boy said. "Mommy was crying. Mommy broke table. Mommy in rug." I have a two year old, I kinda figured that ment she was gone. Its extremely sad.

what annoys me, besides the obvious, is that he took so freaking long to finally confess. imagine being family and waiting, hoping for the phone to ring for 10 days... and to leave his little boy home alone for so long after seeing a traumatic murder? sometimes I think my mom is right when she says never to marry/date a cop.
