how can i convince my parents to take me shopping??

just ask them nicely. and say you need a NEW outfit for summer :)

Make the money you are going to spend yourself and do something nice for them - a favor or chore. If they don't want to drive you there, then convince a friend to go and have their parents take you.

Say that you will save your own money if they won't pay for it and then work on it by being nice and catching yourself if you start to tick them off. Or go to the mall or wherever you shop with your friends.

A lot depends on why you want to go shopping.
Are you talking about getting to the store?
Or are you expecting them to pay for it?
It might help if you earned your own money.
How about doing some chores around the house?

just ask them. why would they say no in the first place. if the issue is getting them to pay for the stuff, just make it all seem like a necessity. "this will be so practical. it goes with everything i have." "i don't have any of these." "my old ... ripped". those are all good lines.

just flat out ask, hey mom can i go shopping? if that doesn't work tell them that whatever you buy you will pay for yourself

Just ask or say "but you get stuff all the time, why can't I go get something?" and put on the puppy dog face, it works on my parents all the time!

why wouldnt they want to take you shopping? well just say I need new clthes and all my other ones dont fit me or have rips and tears and say im wearin gthe same clothes everyday
