I'm from Texas, so should I pack Texas spring clothes or more like winter? I'll be there in three days so I need clothing for the current weather.

I should probably add that I'm a girl.

sorry to say that the weather sucks at this moment, you picked the wrong time, but than again, normally it would have been nice. it's not all that cold really but for texas standards it might be a bit niply haha, bring a hoody, a windjacket , jeans, sneakers and some t-shirts. it's been raining here of and on and it's gonna be like that for the rest of the week, when the sun is out it's warm and humid. also bring one of htem small umbrella's else you be ending up buying one here and they charge tourist an arm and a leg for them things in amsterdam.

enjoy your stay anyways

I am from Houston Texas and I went to Amsterdam in June last year.I was shocked as it was 63 degrees in Amsterdam and nearly 95 to 100 here in Houston.Luckily I Brought jeans tennis shoes and a light sweater. At night time I ended up buying A scarf for my neck.Don't pack for winter but definitely don't pack for Texas weather in June.Jeans and a light sweater or coat should do.

The weather changes. One day it is rainy with thunder storms and the next it's clear skies and sunny. It's not that cold right now, but I would bring a good rain coat (light weight), an umbrella and a long sleeve shirt (also light weight), but also some short sleeve shirts in case the weather is nice. Bring jeans or slacks, but again, you might want to bring one pair of shorts in case it warms up.

Pack for rain, but lightweight.
Waterproof shoes like with goretex,
athletic sandals that are comfortable to walk in, in case it's warm some days. Also cargo shorts, cool shirts (like a fishing shirt, and some t shirts (or buy them there)
A fleece jacket and goretex windbreaker are perfect, and some easy to dry shirts. I don't recommend leather or heavy sweaters or jean jackets.
Take a folding umbrella, and some nylon pants that have goretex lining to be waterproof, but look good enough to go out in. I have some that are black and don't look at all like rainpants. They're also not heavy or sweaty.
You won't need gloves, scarves or earmuffs, but plan for high 75 low 50, but probably rainy. If it doesn't rain for you there, it''s a miracle..

You should prepare for rain (coming week forecast says lots of rain) and mild temperatures - meaning for texans "chilly".

So, some summer clothing is good, but also pack a sweater or two, jeans and some good shoes.
Be prepared for the rains.

Have fun in Amsterdam.

We have had really hot weather in Europe recently - but a lot of rain and storms aswell! When I was in Texas in May - I found it warm and wore shorts and T-Shirts - I would probably pack for a little colder and wetter than that!!

Weather is lousy! Temps are supposed to get up only to 16C/60F today, with lots of rain and wind. Wind is going down tomorrow again but the temps are likely to stick in 60's (F) for the rest of the week too, with lots of rain.

Sweaters and Thick coats, because its like the opposite side of the world. So it's probably like winter or something there.
