The silly libs would demand too many rights for terr'sts. Those of us that are not silly could just as easily torture them as right wingers, the difference is we'd want to be beyond a doubt that we're torturing a guilty party.

What few people understand is that once you condone torture, you render yourself liable to it. Torture is used mostly on suspects rather than on persons convicted. Logically, if an Afghan implicated George Bush while under torture, then Bush, as a suspect, would also be tortured. Allow torture and we are all at risk.
