Hi,
Is Math and Econ undergrad degree useful (BSc) ?

Can I get a good Job in Financial Firm (in States/Canada )with Bachellor degree in Math (BS) and Economics (BA).

Everywhere I see on website Employers ask for Acccounting Designation!!

Currently, I am completing BS in Math and will go for Econ as second degree.

But, I dont see anywhere employers in financial firm asking for this combination.

Everybody wants business and accounting degree :(.

Thanksalot

I agree with the above comments, however if you are getting a BS in Math, you do not need to get a bachelor's degree in economics to get a good job with a bank, consulting firm, or investment bank doing financial modelling. Just take Intermediate Macro and Micro, and spend the rest of your time doing internships and getting into a doctoral program in economics, if you wish to eventually qualify for the top positions. A doctoral program will give you much better options than a bachelor's degree in economics in terms of placements, contacts, and quantitative skills in economics, which are not stressed that much in most undergraduate programs.
Look at the careers section on the websites of specific financial and consulting firms and talk to recruiters who come to your campus as you look for jobs. Good luck...

Yes -- it is an extremely useful combination. Avoid applying for jobs where they advertize for accountants -- they are boring jobs.

Instead look at investment banks and buy-side investment funds.
