They have moved to the middle and quietly disowned the radical left as is evidenced by their distance from Al Sharpton and other like him this campaign cycle. All th new democratic representtives are moderates Meanwhile the current republican crop has been running to the radical right and are losing their moderates' support. Fred Thompson would never generate any excitement as a presidental candidate if their was not such an embarassing field of Republicans runnin right now. RIght now he looks like the last best hope to bring the Republican party back into the world of reality.

Well sir, the Democrats did manage to win the last round of elections, they seem to have moremoderates around then the current group of followers in the Republican party so maybe you can agree that maybe, at least by current standards and results, you may be the one right of center, as oppossed to Democrats?
