There have been nearly 4000 coalition deaths of USA troops.
Well over 26,000 USA troops have been wounded in action and disabled for the rest of their lives.
Nearly 700,000 innocent Iraq civilians have been killed, and countless are disabled for life without the medical attention they need.
We are nearing $450,000,000,000.00 of USA tax dollars spent on this "war".
Saddam Hussein was never a threat to the USA, and had nothing to do with the "attack" on September 11, 2001.
Osama Bin Laden is "not a priority" according to George W. Bush.
The isolated and extremely conspired events of September 11th is not an excuse to go to war with a random country.
So, since Iraq had no intention of going to war with USA, aren't we causing terror in the wrong country? And since we are causing unjust terror, what does that make the USA?

The USA invaded Iraq. The war was sold by GWB under false pretenses. Iraq never posed an imminent threat to the USA. It is an unnecessary war. Some people would say that by its own definition, the USA acted as a "terrorist organization"

Congress was told that Saddam Hussein had nuclear power and might sail into New York harbor and launch a nuclear bomb at any moment. The situation, they were told, was dire. There were all kinds of WMD in Iraq, and the Iraqi citizens were just waiting for rescue and would welcome Americans with cheers and flowers.
Bush got this type of info from an Iraqi ex-pat named Chalabi, who was so close to him that he sat beside Laura at the State of the Union address, the one where he listed Iraq and Iran as two of the "Axis of Evil." Despite the fact that other people, including Joe Wilson and the weapon's inspector, Hans Blitz, and others, told Bush that there were no WMD, he ignored them and traveled the country like a soap salesman selling a new brand of suds.
Who could blame Congress for voting for this war, saving our country from immediate attack, halting a monster like Saddam Hussein with bushel baskets full of WMD?
But there weren't any WMD. There was no nuclear program. So, this War that was started to supposedly protect our country suddenly became a humanitarian effort. We did it to help the poor Iraqi citizens. We would rebuild their country on a grand scale.
That didn't work out, either. The billions spent for reconstruction were wasted by fraudulent companies, bombs, you name it. The program was halted and is now being investigated.
Then, Bush & his Bunch changed tactics again. The War became the "Global War on Terror." He constantly talks of Al Queda, even though the Generals have said they make up only a small percentage of the fighters in Iraq. And Bush, preaching fear of terror, leaves our Southern Border open, welcomes 12 to 20 million strangers in our midst, ad nauseum.
The Iraq War was an invasion. It was an invasion against a small, unprotected country, a country unfortunate enough to have the second largest oilfield in the world.

Can you tell me why Clinton went to war against Serbia then? Bush had permission from the Congress and all the intel showed that Saddam was a threat to world peace. If you don't believe me, read statements made by Democrats leading up to the war and in the 90s.

Grand Theft Country: How George W. Bush Looted Iraq
George W. Bush invaded Iraq because Saddam Hussein would have lowered the price of oil and would have insisted upon payment in Euros. It had nothing to do with fighting "terrorism" in Iraq where, in fact, there had been none. It had nothing to do with WMD in Iraq where, in fact, there had been none. It had nothing to do with bringing Democracy to Iraq where, in fact, there is none still.

We should not have gone there. Now that we have opened up the can of sh|t we must bear the smell of it.
1. We must establish an institution there like the FBI to go after terrorists and criminals.
2. We must supply training and resources to this institution.
3. The last step is to pull out and let them do the work.

Wake up little susi... just because Republicans created the biggest disaster in US history, you can't go blaming the Democrats for the crap you left to pick up.
It will take several Presidential terms to simply get our country on a slightly even track. And yes, it's all your fault.
Anyone who voted for this retarded monkey should be drafted.

Yes. The U.S. and it's meager allies, chose to attack a country without provocation. The U.S. drew, "first blood". We will eventually pay for it! Ever heard of karma?
