Lot's of people will tell you there isn't one but do not listen. They are wrong. The difference is psychological. Being lazy you're just a big lazy bastard. Procrastination you have a fear of changing something, upsetting the apple cart, so you find a reason to put it off because you worry that the change will mess everything up. If you don't go to the mail box because you don't feel like it, that's being lazy, if you don't find a new apartment when you need to, that's procrastination.

Procrastinating is just putting things off. Being lazy is not doing anything at all.

Procrastination is putting something off... you usually have an excuse for procrastination (hanging out with friends, watching TV, going on Y!A, etc.)

Being lazy is just wanting to avoid responsibilities.

Procrastination is like saying, "I'll do it eventually... I just have something better to do right now."
Being lazy is like saying, "I just don't want to do it."

They really go hand in hand, but a procrastinator puts things off until the last minute, someone who is lazy does the bare minimum, usually at the last minute... I'm pretty sure I'm a little bit of both... :0)

You can be lazy now. Procrastinating always has to wait until later. I have a bunch of real serious facts to support this but right now I just dont feel like typing anymore.....I will get back to you tomorrow. Mad TV is on.

prob state of mind. Procrastinating means you're putting it off. Being lazy means you'll never get around to doing it at all.

hehehehehe...
procrastinating- kinda like a habit. It means to do something at the last second.
lazy- it depends on your personality if you're lazy or not. It means to not do something at all, or to say you'll do something later and never do it.
