Some women just have irregular periods so you might want to use birth control just to help make them more regular even if your not having sex and see your GYN.

Hanging around other women can influence your cycle. Youll notice that if you spend time prolonged time with one woman (like a flatmate, sister, roommate) youll end up having periods at the same time. Its one of those weird body things noone can really explain.

So imagine being in school or in a work environment..all those women influencing you! its natural for it to be irregular!

Also, im in my 20's. Only after being on the pill for 3 years did my periods become regular. Before that they were all over the place.

If it really concerns you you can always ask your dr!

Hope this helps

It is not uncommon for young girls to have irregular periods the first few years. The only time I can recall mine being regular were when I was taking bc pills. Some women never have regular periods. It just depends on the individual. If it makes you uncomfortable, ask your parent to take you to the doctor.

If you count the days inbetween then you will know when you will get your period. When you end your next period count the days till your next one. Then when that one ends count those days on a calender and put a mark there cause that is around when your next period should be.

Some people's periods will never be regular, so no need to worry. If this bothers you, you can try birth control pills to regulate them.

Don't worry as you are still going through puberty, in some girls it may take a long time for their periods to become stablized.
