When it comes to manufacturing, China has kicked the economic blocks out from under the wheels of the Mexican work ethic. “Hecho en Mexico” is quickly becoming a long lost tag. Why?

China is not more prosperous than Mexico if you measure by wages or GDP per capita.

China has a lot of people working at very low wages so can produce products cheaper and dominate trade.

I blame the problem on exchange rates.
The Peso is about 11 to $1
The Mexicans working in Mexico are mostly the working poor, because the wages are so low.

It also answers the question why Mexicans try to come to the U.S. to work for below minimum wage.

On the other hand most Chinese have been so impoverished since WW11 that any job is better than working on a communist owned business that only provides sub-standard food& housing.
After about 20 years now the Chinese, by seeing how Hong Kong became wealthy, are going for the Gold.

because of china's factories and bulk selling to the usa at cheap prices and cheap wages, and America's love of buying inexpensive items that they not only need but that they want. One group has to do with trading and companies, and the Mexican one has to do with individuals. A big difference between the two I think.

put it simple, China = big = money = due to something every country wants/ needs = New super power...
