Did you forget the "reason do jour", or do you mean the REAL reason we invaded Afghanistan and Iraq?

The reasons the American people have been given in the past include, "Hussein has nuclear weapons he wants to use on the US", then "We are freeing the Iraqi people from a tyrant", then "We are quelling al Qaeda in Iraq", then "We are stabilizing the civil unrest and sectarian fighting", then, "God told me to",,, pretty much pick which ever reason allows you to support the illegal invasion of Iraq, the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians (which is why there are so many more "terrorists" in Iraq now than when we invaded) and the rampant rape of the land, its resources and its heritage.

The REAL reason is an estimated $22 Trillion in untapped oil reserves under the deserts of Iraq.

Afghanistan was to get "Osama dead or alive", or to remove the Taliban form power, but the REAL reason THERE was to force the Afghani govt (which we installed after the invasion) to approve the construction of a natural gas pipeline from the Caspian Sea to the Gulf of Omam.

Shut up. Quit asking the same stupid question over and over. You have a simple mind.

We are in Iraq to liberate the people. 12 million people voted for who they wanted in the first free election. Those 12 million people are glad we are there but are angry that the Iraqi goverment is not taking control.

If we leave Iraq, there will be mass killings estimated in the millions. Iran wants control of Iraq and the oil there.

Saddam was known to have terrorist ties, especially with the Palestinians. Terror camps were common in Iraq, even under Clintons watch. Clinton actually bombed several of them.

Iraq DID have ties with Al Queda and DID have wmd's. Over 500 wmd's were found in Iraq since we have been there but in small quantities. Where did Saddam put them? Syria is the most likely.

We are at war with Iraq because after 14 years of powerful UN resolutions thatSaddam Hussein ignored, and pleanty of finger wagging, George Bush decided that telling Saddam "No, no" wasn't enough. He made the resolutions mean something that Bill Clinton and the UN were not willing to do.

Because our boy went rogue on us after the Israeli's took out his nuclear power plant. He gave every indication he wasn't on the team, Bush knew he wouldn't be missed off the world stage, nation building is tricky business especially in that region, with that much oil at stake. Might have a domino affect if it works, its like having a door mat in the region you'll always be able to set foot back in the Middle East. The worse thing is that our president isn't as religious as those people in that part of the world they just pray better.

The question is not why. The question is to ask,"What are we going to do?". Will we run and desert our allies like we did in Vietnam? Could we send in enough troops to do the job? We can already seen that thirty thousand was far too few. We need to accept the help of our long time ally in the area Saudi Arabia to replace our troops who are needed at home to secure our borders.

returned in 2002 Bush suggested that Sadam tried to kill his daddy. it is one reason. the different is oil. money from oil. returned in 2003 there have been many professionals who suggested that Iraq did no longer have WMD and had no ties to al-Qaida. Bush manipulated intelligence comments and lied to the U.S. people to get the unlawful conflict "authorized" via a vulnerable congress. It grew to become into an sick-conceived conflict without attitude for the era in-between, and no go out attitude. it is why we are interior the mess we are in. additionally, the Bush administration had little or no knkowledge concerning the actuality of the Iraqi people: 3 important ethnic/non secular communities held mutually in basic terms via the iron fist of a vile dictator. Bush and his advisors are/have been stupid and vulnerable-willed. they have not got the stmach for what it fairly takes to get out of the mess in Iraq.

You are looking at the reason for the war against Iraq. This war was initiated by Ariel Sharon for Israel's strategic benefit!

Thats what Israel does. It has its intelligence organization, Mossad, carry out false flag operations and deceives others into attacking their enemies. In short they get others to fight their wars for them.

They violated the cease fire from the first war.

They signed an agreement so we would not kill them all. Then they refused to live up to the agreement. The penalty for this is a continuation of hostilities.

Are you still confused?
