When I think of Celine Dion (which is as infrequently as possible), I immediately think of "Titanic" -- not the association I'd want with my presidential campaign. Not to mention that Celine is a French Canadian, a group that's been pretty vocal in their dislike of all things American. Nor that for every fan that Celine has, there are about 15 of us hoping she'll be abducted by aliens or otherwise removed from our lives. If you're hell-bent on choosing a non-American singer, what's wrong with Annie Lennox?

Gee, if only there were a strong, American female singer with a memorable, up-tempo song we could latch onto. I mean, other than Aretha Franklin. Or Patti LaBelle. Or (pre-drug-addicted) Whitney Houston. Or Dolly Parton. Or Ella Fitzgerald. Or Loretta Lynn. Or...ah, you get the point. Hell, Courtney Love would have been a less polarizing choice.

I was just saying that to my wife this morning. Celine Dion isn't even American for crying out loud (she's from socialist Canada and prefers to speak French of all things)!
Hillary can't be trusted, and this is just further proof.

Plus...if she did win we would have to hear that song, along with Hillary's face on our nightly news for years!

Come on people! I know we gave you all Bush but such proposed revenge is simply not fair! An eye for an eye....not an eye, snap their heads off!

Lord have mercy on us.
