The apylt named Firewall obviously hasn't passed certain crematoria when they are in action. The smoke and very unpleasant smells are very much in a public place. I can name one in particular if you wish.

Actually the Crematoria are very closely scrutinised by Public Health and they are required to have all sorts of filters inside the chimney's. These days they are very sophisticated in deed. I wouldn't think they would come under the cigarette ban though that's different all together. There is a possibility of formaldehyde escaping from the chimney as some corpses have been partially embalmed with formaldehyde to preserve them until the day of cremation. Interesting question though.

I think you will find that it is enclosed public places smoke from the chimney would not come under the act. I can foresee some problems though. In a catering tent at a show or garden party. Would this be an enclosed public place if it was a nice day and they removed one of the sides

on an identical time as I comprehend the prejudice to people who smoke, i could say as an asthmatic and a non-smoker that I help the ban in some public places. i'm from the U. S. (do not comprehend once you're speaking with regard to the united kingdom), so right here one can not smoke in eating places, in some bars on the discretion of the owner, and interior 20ft of a public construction. i individually locate it smart. on an identical time as I comprehend that's an habit, i think that the greater obstacles placed on people who smoke the greater helpful. that's like letting an alcoholic drink and be rowdy everywhere they are, they'll for sure worry somebody with their habit as they'll consequence others around them. Smoking is starting to be greater taboo because of fact anybody is bothered by potential of it. Frankly it stinks and that's an exceedingly unattractive and undesirable habit. The greater lives we can save by potential of banning it the greater helpful. Lung maximum cancers is a destructive component to stay by way of because it oral maximum cancers, emphasema, and protracted bronchitis. i've got watched family go through by way of the destructive outcomes of smoking and that's unneccessary to die till now some time basically for a stupid ciggarette.

lol, i don't think so. i never have smelt the smoke of a corpse when i pass by a place that does that. maybe they have certain hours they cremate a corpse.

i quit smoking years ago and being free from second hand smoke in public places is a good thing. not being asked smoking or non smoking when i go into a restaurant is also good. it's just respect not to have to deal with someone elses habit that you are free from such as second hand smoke...

kat tell your dad that he won't feel a thing he'll be in a new celestial body. besides, even if you could feel it being burnt would be the lest of his worry. if we could feel our bodies after death decomposing would hurt worse than a few seconds of flames...

Surprisingly interesting point, submitter.

Wikipedia [1] states some of the environmental drawbacks of cremation, which includes that old nasty, carbon monoxide. However, you aren't taking valuable land space and the ickyness of decomposing formaldehyde....
