Uum, no, was it a better place when the germans had there whole thing against none whites? All women were stay at home moms then. Or was it a better place for the native americans when the settlers first came. Wasn't the settlers wives stay at home. There are plenty of situations that answer this question. How about this final one, when Hillary Clinton had no job and her husband was president was the world a better place for her when he was commiting adultry?

I'm kinda sick of this issue. It's tired. Most of us simply cannot afford to just stop working to be at home with our kids. If I did that, we would be living on the streets. I have to pay what are called BILLS. Why don't you think further than your limited opinions? Why don't YOU stay at home with the kids like Mr. Mom? Guys could use a lesson or two in nurturing!

I don't know about the world being a better place but if the men would do their jobs as far as supporting and taking care of their children and wives the world would definately be a better place. Maybe more mothers would be home with their children if the men stepped up to the plate and acted like men.

so basically your still saying the sexist thing - would the world be any different if the guy stayed home and did that stuff?
it's expensive to live. and to have kids more so. money first, family second - unless you want to work two jobs. it's also the father's job to nurture.

Some women work to try to help out. If men want it this way again then get two jobs-or one that pays well. Women also want some security in case of divorce..Staying at home is working as well.

People like you make it the worst place to live in. What about the single parents? Please think before you ask!!!!!
I am a single mum of 2 and to secure my kids future i have to work. I am proud that i wont accept tax payers money to raise my kids. They deserve dignity. Think about the child minders. don't they deserve a living too?

The world would be a better place if people like you would stop being so judgemental.Maybe both parents MUST work to put food on the table and a roof over their heads!

the problem is is that many (not all) men are too stupid to be able to look after their own children
