Sadly the show was cancelled. Had there been a fourth season, the show would have jumped ahead several years to show Veronica at the FBI Academy. This was pitched by Rob Thomas, the show's creator, but apparently the CW did not want to invest in another season.
I did hear a rumor about a possible comic book series, similar to what was done with Buffy, but I don't know how much hope to put into that.

The show has been canceled, it is still rumored that Rob Thomas is trying to sell it to another station. SOOO if we do get our Mars back , I hope to see Vinnie be thrown on his *** out of the sheriff's office ( I don't hate the guy, he is half decent and a better man than Lamb ever would have been ) VMars will be with Logan like she is supposed too. ( that what happens in my version anyhow )

veronica mars has not been picked up by the cw for a fourth season. the rumor is that rob thomas is trying to sell it to another station. the cw made it's final descision may 17th. sorry. damn the cw! they dropped all the good shows!

Sadly it the show was cancelled. if someone knows otherwise let me know. but if it wasnt cancelled it would have jumped into the future a few years. and she would have been in the FBI.
