1) cajon
2) salted
And, for all of you yankees out there that don't know what they are, it's simple.
You take fresh(green) peanuts and boil them in the shell with seasoning for about 6 hours.
MMMM MMMMMM MMMMM GOOD!!
Oh, by the way, you don't eat the shells, just the nuts inside!!

I absolutely love boiled peanuts. When I lived in Mississippi my grandmother and mother would make them all the time. I couldn't eat too many though because I would spend the next day in the bathroom, getting a lot of reading done. I went to Georgia a couple of years ago and that was the first thing I wanted to do, was get some boiled peanuts. Can you email me some?

I LOVE boiled peanuts!! Must confess I've never been brave enough to try cajun. I don't eat them that often and would hate to miss out on my good ol' salted. BUT they have to be cooked right....

I like the salted ones.
I'm a Yankee transplant that moved to NC. That's when I first tried them. Now I know how to make my own. YUM

I love them, and I do eat the shells on the small soft ones dude...lol salted is my favorite.
