how many gigabites would it be? answers are greatly appreciated! =]

I think it's the 4GB but the higher the GB, the more you can store songs. :)

Assume a Meg a minute for an MP3 music file and 1 Gig is 1,000 Meg. A typical song is between 3 and 4 minutes or so 1 Gig holds between 333 (at 3 minutes a song) and 250 (at 4 minutes a song).
SO, to hold 1000 songs you need between
3 x 1000 = 3 Gig
and
4 x 1000 = 4 Gig.

because of the fact one thousand songs are extra beneficial than 4gb.. The predicted one thousand songs has various contributing factors.. The Nano additionally does not enable an entire 4gb you lose some area for various motives..

4 gigs but i dont know ne one who knows of 1000 songs i'd get the 2 gig beacause you can dave your money and delete songs if you dont want them anymore to make room for others. =]]
