Homophobia is for idiots. I think the question that you referenced stems from uptight straight men being confused by the fact that they fancy Captain Jack. And who doesn't? I must say, though, he's got some competition from John Simm after last night. I mean, I know he's insane, power-crazed and amoral, but.... yum!

I agree entirely with who ever said:
(I am tired of the whole fairy thing, I mean if you want to be that way behind closed doors, ok. But to be public about it, disgusting! I believe somethings should just not be known. As for the whole gay thing, this is definetly something that should be left behind locked doors!)
because
1. There's more to life than sex
2. Being gay it's not exclusive it's a freak of nature
If I were to introduce myself as a fan of masochism and fetishism every time I met somebody, people would think I'm weird, so why do we have to accept people who introduce themselves as gay - being normal?
Is not what you are it's who you are that is important.

John Barrowman is in a long-term relationship (since 1991) with someone he has made a legal and emotional commitment to. If that should be kept in the dark then really so should every kind of relationship. If John can't mention Scott in public then Ozzie should not be able to mentions Sharon and Lenny Henry should not be able to mention Dawn French.
John Barrowman is a wonderful actor and a great person and I am glad he is happy and honest about who he is and who he loves.

gay or not I do not want to be taking my nephew to the park and see 2 people going at it on the bench, etc.
So gay or not there's a time and a place and it's in the privacy of your own home.
I hold hands in public- sometimes. but I will not start a make out session in the middle of a store. That's not okay.
As for what was said....people are very open about being gay and some people are grossed out by it...it just takes some time to get use to I suppose.
I'm straight and I think that whatever will make someone happy is what they should do....
well I have to go straighten my hair. I'm going to the movies tonight to see that movie about the hotel room...4018 is it?
anyway suppose to be really good!
so anyway just try not to take things personally. Some people are stuck in the stone age and some people are cool with the new age stuff....

People act as if homosexuality is a choice and they really just don't get it. I am straight and have a couple of gay friends, both men and women. Not one of them has said they chose to be gay that just how they are. People make it sound like its a hobby or a past time. These people need to get a clue.

I try really hard not to judge people, its simply not my place or anyone else's. People are people no matter what and should be treated with respect. Whether you personally 'believe' in it or not is irrelevant in my book. Do unto other after all :) And frankly, to refer to them as 'gays' is a bit much I think. They are human beings who happen to be gay, however they got that way. Just my opinion.

I don't care who someone chooses to spend time with.
I don't want to see a man and woman going at in in the streets anymore than I want to see two of the same sex going at it.
As far as keeping it behind closed doors, I think some affection is fine but like I said before I don't like seeing anyone all over the other person.

I think gay people are nice and fun and I dont really care what they do. If straight people can do what ever they want in public then gay people should too.

hate to say it but i'm old school Roman Catholic and i'm sick of these f*gs complaining and wanting equal rights in the church ....... i don't care if you want to get married, i really don't your divorce rate is the same as straight couples but i also feel that the church should have the right to choose if they will officiate over the ceramony and wheather or not they want to recognize the union.
i'm also kind of creeped out over the whole gays adopting kids thing my first thought when i hear about a gay guy adopting a little boy is "pedofile!?!?!" i may be wrong here but the gay guys should be adopting little girls so that they won't be diddling them and so that they can teach them girly things. the really butch dykes should be adopting the boys ant teaching them guy stuff.
in short i have a choice to be for or against gays and i choose to be tolerant.... for the most part...... i just don't want their lifestyle shoved down my throat.
