This guy...he's quite a character!
His arguement for not turning over these records. He tried to say that as the President of the Senate he holds a bridge between the Legislative and Executive offices and as part of the Legislature he isn't required under the law to release his personal records to the Archive!

Dina W: Don't you ever get tired of answering questions about the crimes of this administration by avoiding the question and pointing at other criminal behavior conducted by someone else?
Have you never heard the expression "Two wrongs do not a right make"!?!?!?!
Why do you support in one that which you condemn in the other!!??
BOTH are wrong for America!!!

No. There is an unwritten rule that neo-cons are not to be held accountable for their misdeeds. Therefore, no Republican shall ever pay an equal price for any harm they have done via the crime(s) they commit.
The 2nd unwritten rule is similar. It states that the Bush admin and whomever they favor is above the constitution and every law of this land.

Yes he legally does have to comply. I was amazed at Cheney's dishonesty and stupidity, in this matter. Cheney tried to claim he's not part of the executive branch! LOL! Cheney needs to read the consitutuion. There is no gray area there. How did we get such a stupid, dishonest president and vice-president? The States with the most College grads all voted for Gore and Kerry. Do the math. I rest my case.

"Vice President Dick Cheney has asserted his office is not a part of the executive branch of the U.S. government, and therefore not bound by a presidential order governing the protection of classified information by government agencies, according to a new letter from Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., to Cheney."
Since when is the Vice-president not a part of the executive branch?? That's a new one!!!! He thinks so the rest of the time!
Don't you just love how they try and circumvent law. Using the RNC to send E-mails so they would not come under the scrutiny by anyone else. Almost like 60 seconds of silence! Actually it was more!
Anything done in an elected office is, and should be, abled to be reviewed, not hidden from the public! Once allowed to hide documents from the government they can do any damn thing they want with no oversight!
What could Dick Cheney possibly have to hide?

V.P. Cheney, the worst of the worse. His arrogance never ceases to amaze me. This administration thinks they are above the law they do not have to abide by the rule of law. He is an enemy to Americans everywhere. He should be taken outside put against a wall and shot for treason.

Just the fact that he doesn't want to turn over his records
is a fairly good indication that he's hiding something.
He should be made to turn them over immediately, I don't
care if it's Saturday night - any amount of time wasted
debating this, will give him the time he needs to "fix" things.
This is just another act of cronyism that won't stick to
our teflon administration. Heaven help us.
