The Dell, it has a dual core vs a single core processor in the Compaq, plus it has a little bit bigger hard drive. Everything else pretty much the same.

The Dell would be the better of two. The Compaq doesn,t even have speakers.

I would get the Dell. Though Compaq comes with more pre-installed software that might be useful. It's up to you, their both standard to todays computrers.

they both suck, but fro mtheses two i would buy the dell dimension e521 cause the processers better

get the del its has a larger hard drive and dell has better support.
