Yup!

Geckos regularly shed their tails to escape predators, then regrow them.

Yes. They use the detatched, moving tail to distract predators and escape. The tails only come off if the gecko feels threatened or something has its tail. They grow back soon.

Most do. Crested gecko tails don't grow back. Leopard geckos tails do, sometimes they look a little different.

Yes the tail will grow back. Probably not as nice as it was but it will grow back. Geckos have very sensitive tails and they can drop them off at will especially if they are threatened or grabbed by it. The tail was a storage area for his food so make sure he is getting plenty to eat because his storage area is now gone.

Yeah but you have to keep an eye, and also may want to go to the veterinarian because it can crazy diseases and infections. Imagine walking around without an arm, your open to everything, especially the gecko in a dirty terrarium. So yes, the tail should grow back but make sure he remains healthy and the tank remains clean. The lizard's tail may also not grow back exactly like it was before. Good Luck!!

If it is a leopard gecko, then yes it will but it will never be the same. Crested geckos don't regrow their tails.

No, actually, it just makes a blood clot on the tip of the tail, skin just grows over it, that's atleast what an anole's tail does.

Most lizards are able to lose a tail, and grow one back.

yes because reptiles (such as lizards and what not) can regenerate which is when a body part will regrow the body part that fell off.
