as the brake pads wear the fluid from the brake master cylinder goes down there is a sensor on master cylinder that puts the light on the dash to warn the fluid is low i expect either your front brake pads are low or you may have a leak from your rear wheel cylinders either way get it checked out as better to have brakes than not have any at all

1. low brake fluid , if you have a sensor 2. low brake pressure when applying the brakes 3 miss adjusted or bad switch on emegency brakes will all set of the brake light off I would check the fluid level first. If it`s low it`s an indication you need to replace the brakes

Could be low fluid level, worn brake pads, or a loose switch on the handbrake. Really if you have to ask the question you need to see a proper mechanic, especially for brakes!

it could be what the above mentioned or on some cars they have a sensor on the brake pad so when they become very worn down the light will flicker on and off

could be a dodgy brake switch or the fluid level is low or you have reached the limit on your pads and the warning sensor has picked up the signal or quite simply be that the sensor on the hand brake is malfunctioning soory to sound a tw*t but im a mechanic i would ignore the nobs above

i had the same thing on my 306 turned out to be the brake fluid was leaking from a split hose on my front right wheel, only found out when i did a 360 when braking hard luckily i didnt hit anything, so i suggest you get your g/ to take it to the garage pretty damn quick.

It could be that the handbrake cable needs replacing or tightening
