If so, what are some examples of when he might let you wear pants?

I always wear what I want. I always want to wear skirts or dresses, because he likes me that way, and I love to dress up for him when he expresses his wishes. So you can say he tells me what to wear, but it is my own decision that I allow him to. Whether his parents are around, does not make any difference, but I know they like me this way, too.

I wear jeans and pants most of the time. I only wear a skirt or a dress for special occassions or when it's really hot.

He doesn't make me wear anything, I wear whatever is comfortable and is appropriate but sometimes I wear dresses/skirts. But if I'm not around his parents, I wear something over the line. ;)

My man is an only child, and his parents are dead.
In the year or so that his mother was living with him due to failing health, I pitched in when needed, and I don't think he was focusing on my clothing.
I think what he saw was a compassionate, loving woman, willing to accept this place in his life, and participate in it.
I used to go over before work and see to it that she ate breakfast and took the right insulin because she was a brittle diabetic.
I also used to bring my son with me so I could drop him off at school after.
I really don't think his focus was on fashion at that time.
So, how are those fashion classes coming? Design anything for" girlfriend assisting with elderly mother lately"? Are you designing it with some "character" sewn in? Or is it just for show?

I always wear pants, my boyfriend has no say in how I dress and never will.

I always wear pants,capris or shorts....never dresses or skirts unless Im going to a wedding or funeral.
Personally my husband likes jeans,shorts and capris. They show my *** tighter lol
