Like most Christan evangelists, we feel, because our "experiment" has been the greatest success story in world history, that we must make everyone the same as us. In truth, such an outlook is arrogance at its extreme. Perhaps, we should enjoy our success and leave the rest of the world to itself, unless it threatens our way of live. I do not remember anyone in the world interfering with our movement toward democracy, other than the French. Once we rid ourselves of our overwhelming desire to mold the world to fit our beliefs, we may find the world will eventually move in our direction without been prodded by our arrogance.

Have you been to or heard of what life is like in communist countries or other governments where it's people have no rights? We want the same freedoms for others -- especially for those whose governments torture and kill their citizens like Iraq, China, etc. Our democracy would seem like a heavenly solution for people living in those countries, don't you think?

At least we have solutions. Other nations and peoples just shoot at each other. The United States is the world's only superpower, (no, China isn't one), and it is our responsibility to try and make the world a better place. We realized about a century ago that just sitting by and watching doesn't do any good.

I don't know, but if they cleaned up their own backyard, the rest of the world would have a lot more respect for them and maybe listen to their solutions more. Practise what you preach and others might listen to your sermons.
