Gonna be pretty difficult, considering most places don't sell Christmas related items at this time of the year. However, I did say difficult, and not impossible. There are some stores that sell Christmas items all year long, and you might be able to find a cheap artifical tree there. As I don't really know where you are, I can't begin to make a suggestion.

Nowhere the best time to get them cheap is the day after christmas and that week before New Years.

try someplace like goodwill; they might have one.
