What i would recommend is that you use your phone until the battery goes completely dead and then charge it all the way up until the battery meter is full. . .and you continue to use your phone til it goes completly dead, then recharge it again. do this 3 times so that it can extend your battery life.

It varies from cell phone to cell phone. You should contact your cell provider, and reading the cell phone manual would also help.
