I have been working on a bath and body business idea for almost 2 years now. I have a domain name, website designed all but added the actual products, professional logo, preliminary formulas, marketing strategy (not actual plan yet, but I had a game plan), etc. The products and theme are geared toward a specific niche and I think I've done a pretty good job staying within that niche right down to product names and model photos. Anyway, is all this work worth anything? Perhaps on Ebay? My credit sucks and I have simply given up on ever being able to purchase the supplies I need to get started. And I don't want to just make a couple products here and there in a less that professional manner - I'm an all or nothing kind of person. So if I can't do it justice, I'd like to see someone else get it going. Thanks!

I didn't come here to be torn down to nothing by some jackasses who only feel good about themselves when they are putting someone else down.

People do not pay a lot for unproven ideas. People pay a lot for running business that produce cash and have the opportunity to grow.

If it the business is not running, you are selling a domain name and some paper...

If you do sell it, you would have to talk to some potential buyer about the specifics of your idea, it sounds like if you talk to someone specifically about them buying the idea, they could copy it without you.. so selling would also be risky.

Sounds like you need to combine this idea with products to make it click... so ideally you want to find someone with these products (or who has the credit to buy them) and you partner with them. Perhaps you can sell this as "I bring the idea, you bring the money"... but it's a long shot.

First of all, don't sell it on eBay. People on that site want to buy everything for half a penny on the dollar. eBay is a dying dinosaur when it comes to profit potential. Try Sedoauctions.com or Buysellwebsite.com. Those tend to have better buyers.

Sounds like you've put a lot of work into this. Unfortunately, since it's not up and running and making money, it's unlikely that anyone would pay much for it.

Its a shame that you have such limited attention that you are " ALL OR NOTHING "

One good product is better than a dozen half assed ones
