i was going to use tea tree oil as a hair treatment..but i dont know if i should because of the fumes??

Tea tree oil is ok, even though it is strong-smelling. Because not many studies have been done, though, you should only use it sparingly and in small amounts.

Um I don't think that tea tree oil has fumes?? At least the shampoo I have of it doesn't....Maybe buy that version of it. It's about 8 bucks a bottle at any hair salon. I wouldn't think it's dangerous. But if you really want to be sure, there should be a 800 or 888 number on the back....call them they would know the best. Good Luck

tea tree oil is real strong, and since all the hormones in your body are out of whack I dont think it would be wise. The fumes arent too bad, just minty. However I used it on my skin without being pregnant and my skin got a rash. I would ask your doctor before using it.

Dont bother. Try using Tea Tree Shampoo from Supercuts then condition afterwords. Supercuts also carries great tea tree hair products. Go check it out.

The article from the mayoclinic includes hair treatment as one of the uses of tea tree oil. This is the same article I already quoted where they say it isn't suggested. It's your body and your baby...do what you want but If the mayo clinic Say's it's not a good idea...?

you should be fine but if the fumes begin to bother you then get to a better ventilated area or wash it out...my fiance uses it and the smell makes me nauseous so i just leave the room.
