Because the people who vote for Kennedy are just like him..... minus his money.
(And Unions & Democrat Voter Fraud always helps.)

In most cases it's a matter of contributors. The person that gets the most money...usually wins.
Of coarse he does sort of rest on his name, and the brothers whom were a lot better at being leaders, imo.
Essentially it's name recongnition and his political constituents....lawyers, banks, communication, unions, and political interests.

Sen. Kennedy is re-elected time after time for a few very basic reasons
1. he is a very senior senator and the people of MA believe that he can do more for the commonwealth than a new senator could.
2. Family name !
The people of MA love the Kennedy's and still feel sorry for losing JFK and RFK.
3. MONEY! the Kenedy's have A LOT of money and know how to spend it.

probably so that we can hear all the neo cons lose their minds when his name is mentioned...Funny how our state has the best universities in the country but we're idiots, we'd never vote for a non democrat yet we had Republican governors for 15 years before this year, funny how we're all immorral yet we have the lowest divorce rate in the country, funny how we're all hippy American haters yet we started the path to creating this country...remember, facts always kill the far right...to answer your question, incumbents across the country before last year was factored in(even though every Dem in the house and senate kept their seat) tend to get re elected well over 90% of the time, it's 100% name recognition, Romney tried and failed and that was probably the best shot R's had here
only 2 negatives, figured there were too many facts in here for the neo cons to only muster 2 negs, I've created a formula based on the more facts posted, the more negatives I get, it's a fascinating study

It seems like the only time that the good people of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts hear from Drunken Master Ted is when he is running for another term for Dictator. I remember someone here commenting on the fact that he wasn't aware that Oldsmobile made submarines. I thought that was pretty funny.

Simple; the only reason people get re-elected is because people vote for them. People like Ted Kennedy. Grant it, not everyone does, but obviously a majority does.

No facts here....I just feel it is the belief that Teddy is powerful and the dems from that area of the country feel comforted by continuing to vote in a "very powerful" democrat candidate. Blinded loyalty.
