I live in MA and I cannot find a graphic design job. WHY? Maybe because I am an immigrant?

my granddaughter just changed her major away from graphic design ... she said that there are waay too many people looking for work in the field and that it seems to her that jobs come because of who you know, not what you can do.

assuming you're a legal immigrant and have the papers to prove it, that isn't a likely issue.

Now ... who do you know that has any connection at all in the business??

Better question == >> who do you know who can help you meet someone who might know someone who is connected?
