Same old questions, same old answers, time and time again.
To predictable, to boring, it would not be so bad if the debate found new ground to discuss.
The one thing that has surprised me is that (At a guess) I would say 75% of all questions related to this issue are about the Parents or Family.........
Not about where the missing child is etc etc
Whats that all about ?
It sometimes feels like if SOME people were given a chioce between finding the child or prosecuting the parents this would be a hard decsion for them.
Very strange.

Well we are here to answer questions. That's what this website it for. If someone ask a question about the McCanns naturally we are going to answer them. We will keep doing it until it dries up. The topic is going on and on too much I know, but we can't let people down.

Yep very tired of it no offence to anyone it is very tragic. It's been 50 odd days now since she has been taken. Children go missing everyday and terrible things happen to children. Just look at Burma at the moment and all the corrupt things which are happening there with children. I see anyone going on about that. Maddy's gone and she isn't coming back. Time to let it go people.

Yes I am!
This is the only question relating to this topic that I have answered! The topic has been well discussed and we are some 50days into the event. At what point do we stop discussing and judging what has happened?

Yes. I do hope the child is found alive, but enough of crucifying her parents.
Sure and there is much more in the news to discuss than this.

I am many things more than bored. Disgusted, shocked, outraged, sad, depressed, appalled.
There are a great many nasty, small minded, judgemental, self-righteous, smug idiots spewing nothing but venom over this. They claim to care about Madeleine but nothing could be further from the truth as far as I can see.
To listen to them you could be forgiven for forgetting that the villain of the piece is the abductor, not her parents. Yes, they were wrong to leave the children alone - the fact that she was taken provides proof enough of that - but repeating it and repeating it does no good and certainly does not make it neglect when it wasn't.
I could imagine someone who has been a victim of parental neglect being offended that the McCann's behaviour has been characterised that way. A court case was concluded in Edinburgh in which a mother was found guilty of orchestrating the gang rape of her own daughter by a paedophile ring starting when the girl was just 6 years old. That's bad parenting. What the McCann's did was an error for which they will punish themselves as long as they live. It does not, in my view, warrant any formal punishment.
