I must admit, I haven't been following her campaign much (or any other candidates for that matter). However, I hear so much negativity surrounding her and whatever she represents. I was wondering what some of your thoughts are on her.

Just do a little research on her...Just take a few hours...and then you`ll see, even if you agree with her points of view. You`ll see why so much of America has a BIG problem with her.

So many reasons ..where to begin ? Besides being disingenuous , she seems to have no scruples about encouraging others to take the fall for her wrong-doings .
Her reputation precedes her , no matter how many make-overs and costume changes and spoofs her handlers throw at us . She's even being sued by a businessman who says he was burned after donating $1.9mil to her senate campaign.
So much for women's' rights - NOT . She had her people ambush Bill's other women , by trying to obstruct justice with intimidation and slander in some cases when the situations arose . Not too many good points ; unless "promises" and insincerity count for anything . I don't hate her ; I just don't have a yen for the dictator type .

In a word: arrogance. She has, since entering the public arena, displayed a contemptuous disdain for anyone with differing political views; or even ideological allies who did not show her proper deference.

There is a new biography of Hillary Clinton by Carl Bernstein called: "A Women in Charge" which I recommend if you want examples of this. To give you one example from this book, when senator Bill Bradley proposed changes in her health care plan to enable passage Bernstein reports:

"No, Hillary responded icily, there would be no changes because delay or not, the White House would 'demonize' members of Congress and the medical establishment who would use the interim to alter the administration's plan or otherwise stand in its way."

I personally don't care for royal families like the Bush's or the Clintons and I don't think we need another Clinton in the White House any more then we'd need another Bush...most other people hate her because saying the word Clinton to a neo con is like waving red in front of a Bull, surprising since he was far more moderate then the majority of Democrats(ie welfare reform, balanced budgets..etc)

46% of the suggested voters say they would not vote for her. That's one of the highest percentages out there.

Doesn't necessarily mean she's the worst candiate, although she's the most known. That being said, she's fairly unpopular in comparison to her husband (whom enjoys a very high popularity among democrats). I'm not sure what the reasons are....in that case.

I wouldn't vote for her...because I don't agree with her policies and behaviour. I don't hate her, and honestly I think she's probably the best candiate to go against. I'm not underestimating her, I'm just saying with her name, the voters will likely come out to just 'vote against' her.

Really depends on whom is going against her.

I think it all hinges on comments and political bias....the hatred. Although you can never be quite sure why people feel certain ways.

I don't hate her, but she doesn't have any charisma. To be President, that person must be able to inspire people. I just don't get that from her. I also think that she is a calculating individual. I think people dislike that aspect of her personality.

With that being said, obviously, not everyone hates her -- she has the lead to win the Dem nomination for the presidency. She must be doing some things right.

It's very simple. People can claim that they don't like her policies, her voice, her clothes, her hair, her husband, her successes or her failures, but the fact is - the don't like her because she is a woman who wants to be President.
Men don't want to take orders from a woman - any woman.
Strong, intelligent women don't think that she's strong enough and Suzy Homemaker thinks she's too strong.

Cause she is a woman and has a set of #%!* and men do not like that......the Presidency is hers to lose in my opinion.....Obama is maybe the future and the Republicans don't really don't have anyone.....Guliani!....you got to be kidding....and Thompson...how can someone that has never done anything come in and get so much attention...the Republicans are hurting ....the only one that could take it away from Hillary is maybe McCain.....but Bush messes him up....he would never get it....too middle for the right wing to get behind him.........Clinton will win!

it's the trail of slime, mostly.

check her first job out of law school [yes, they were married and Bill had a real job] ... and check how long after law school ended that she got it.

yup -- she was a political hack artist for someone in Washington. Job? smearing witnesses in committee hearings to help her boss look good to the voters.

how'd she get the job? connections.

she's been on a downhill slide ever since.

:-)
