After using system restore I have my computer up and running again. However when my computer starts up it says "This application has failed to start because w32n50.dll was not found. Reinstalling this application may fix the problem." The computer works fine except for this box I have to close every time I start up. Should I be concerned? What can I do? How can I reinstall w32n50.dll? Thank you for your time.

I ran msconfig and went to the startup tab and removed the linksys adapter. The error doesn't occur anymore. Thanks for your help.

Just send your computer back to an earlier time before the crash. Via Accessories, System Tools, System Restore You can do this to restore your windows software to an earlier time before the crash.
