i live in u.k so what age do u have to be. to drive a car or start driving and wat age for a on road quard

The minimum ages for bikes, quads and cars are:

Mopeds with an engine capacity not exceeding 50cc and a maximum design speed not exceeding 50km/h (30mph) - 16 years old.

Light motorcycles with an engine capacity not exceeding 125cc and a power output not exceeding 11kW (14.6bhp) - 17 years old.

Motorcycles and motorcycle combinations up to 25kW(33bhp) and a power to weight ratio not exceeding 0.16kW/kg - 17 years old.

Any size motorcycle with or without a sidecar - 21 years old (or 2 years from the date of standard category A test pass).

Motor tricycles / quadricycles (3 or 4 wheeled vehicles) with an unladen weight not exceeding 550kg - 17 years old.

Motor vehicles with a Maximum Authorised Mass (M.A.M.) not exceeding 3500kg and having not more than 8 passenger seats or with a trailer up to 750kg - 17 years old.

17 for a provisional car, 16 in some cases for people with disabilities.

Quad im not sure about, even if they are road legal, which i wouldn't of thought so, unless registered taxed with DVLA, should only be used on private property with proper saftey gear me thinks.

as you need full car licence you would need to be at least 17
