No! I shower/bath every day on my period and so does EVERYONE else I know. I don't understand what showering would/could do to you. Sometimes I bath more than once a day. By bathing it suppose to help to relive cramps. I have actually heard and this was even thought to me in school a long time ago, that if you don't bath on your period that it can make it hard/impossible to get pregnant. I can't remember actually how or why but I have always heard that and was taught that in sex ed. I actually know a women who has been told that thats why she can't have kids now, because she didn't bath on her period. It can cause you to smell to. I know a girl who went a day without bathing on here period and she smelt terrible! Even where she had been sitting smelt bad! You could smell it when she left the room! Thats just how bad she smelt. But no it won't hurt anything to shower or bath during your period.

I never had one and I am past the periods now. I took daily showers when I did have them. Just don't make the water too hot. That can cause your blood vessels to dilate and you could feel dizzy or faint. Other than that, showering is very good hygiene and I would rather shower than sit in water that has all the dirt and skin that was washed off me.
