Would people of certain ethnic backgrounds be ok, while others would not be acceptable?

It would not bother me because I have almost always dated outside of my race. I feel that it it's what is inside that counts. I find that I am more physically attracted to guys outside off my race, but I married a white man.(and I will always think that he is the best person in the world even though we are divorced now) The only fear that I would have with my children dating outside their race is the stereotyping and prejudice that they would have to deal with. I would never want them to be subjected to that.

I wouldn't care in the least if my son dated anyone of a different race....the only thing that matters to me, is that he is happy.

No, I would not. My son went to college at Univ of Michigan and I figured he MIGHT come home with someone of a different race.As long as she is nice, I don't care what she looks like!

my son is only a baby right now... but when he is ready to date... the choice is his... who am I to say which race would be acceptable?

No... as long as the date had good manners and was a nice person, I don't think it would really matter.

I wouldn't be upset at all. As long as whomever they were dating,treated them well, I wouldn't care.

I wouldn't be upset, but I would definately make sure to find out the person's family background. :)

No I wouldn't, because that's what I'm mad at my parent's about. They are all upset because my boyfriend is part mexican!
