My Hp Laptop isn't workin!!!?

My Hp Omnibook xt 1500 laptop is not workin,,,am pressing the on button all the lights of the keyboard buttons come on but nothin shows on the display screen it just remains black!!...can you please help me

Try going into safe mode if that does not work you may have to reformat it. If you haven't made the reformat disks you can order them online at the HP website.

sounds like it could be the ram card, in desktops they can come loose quite easy, not so sure about laptops but the simptoms are the same. you'll need some one to look at it though, they are not as easy to pull apart as desktops. hope this helps
