E! reports that it could be a gay man named Mario "something or Ross the Intern, and there are rumors that it might be Kathy Griffin. Has Barbara announced Rosie's replacement? Shouldn't she consider Fran Drescher? She funny and witty too.

I like Fran but I couldnt sit and watch the View with a voice like that for an hour every single day. I would LOVE to see Kathy Griffin but I think they see her as too controversial, she speaks her mind 24/7. I would love to see Ross, he is a guy, but I think he is feminine enough that he would be perfect. Also would love to see Whoopi (sp?) Goldberg. The show would be even better if they would kick that air head Elisabeth off. Sweet girl, but she is a total ditz.

Rosie is immediately out. Brittney's vacuousness would be intolerable. Fran is not only THE choice, but she's not even a bad choice when I think about it. She's a pretty lady, and actually not an annoying ditz like she plays on t.v. In the interviews I've seen, she strikes me as somewhat of a savvy chick.

Oh, puhleeze not Fran Drescher. Could you imagine her voice mixed with Joy's.
Barbara always said it should be women only. Mario Cantone is that gay guy who rags on the celebs after award shows and thinks he's funny. I don't know Ross the intern. And Kathy Griffin would be a train wreck. I wish they'd choose someone so we can stop speculating.

Chelsea Handler would be hilarious, but she's a little too crazy for The View. Kathy Griffin would also good. Fran would be sooo annoying!

Good God i hope they don't pick Fran "The Nasal Wonder" Drescher. i can't *stand* her laugh. at least Kathy Griffin doesn't sound like she's having a bowel movement through her nose everytime she opens her mouth.

Ew, I can't stand Fran Drescher's voice. I don't watch it either, but why would they replace one big mouth, annoying woman with another? Ross the intern would be hillarious!

i don't think it would be cool to have a guy on the show because its always been women. fran would annoy me, and i just can't picture kathy on there.
