Because eventually, we will all know, just like O.J, and all of his stats will be erased. everybody knows he did steroids, and he says 'o no, my trainer gave me then in a ******* cream'. yea right all the people on the world know thats BS. if he came clean, more people (if any) would respected him better than if he didnt have.

The reson that Barry won't retire till now he breaks this record is that he's an egomaniac...he did not commence utilising steriods till he observed the attention that different gamers juicing have been getting..regrettably he will quickly very own the appropriate record in all of baseball...and so some distance as pitchers hitting bonds, some could choose to try this yet as quickly as he became into hit some circumstances in a row the commissioner's workplace could droop each pitcher who hit him unintended or not and it can be a huge mess..and baseball continues to be a gents's interest even however there are cheaters between them...

What should he come clean about? He didn't take steroids and anyone who believes so just hates the fact that Bonds is the best hitter they have seen in their lifetime. He's the most complete whether defensively or offensively. It's good to be an ignorant **** who asks stupid questions isn't it?

Perhaps because no amount of repentance is ever enough to satisfy a lynch mob.

Your nickle's worth of free advice: baseball never has and never will "erase" anyone's statistics. Why bother? There is NO point to it; what happened, happened. To claim otherwise is to rewrite history into a tale of deceit, and while that tends to be popular in politics and diet books, baseball holds to a higher standard (which, compared to politics, isn't at all difficult).

What the hell. Does Daryl Strawberry need to have his career erased or MIchael Irvin. They are people. If he isn't locked up they can't prove it. If he is still in baseball then it doesn't matter they don't care. He is the hottest commidity in baseball right now. Sosa and Mcquire and Griff aren't doing anything. I hate snitches so why incriminate yourself. He is rich and famous and I don't think anyone would give that up! Soon he will be in history.

if you took steroids and were under scrutiny, would you admit that you took them even though you are about to be homerun king and you have the most homeruns in a single season?

actually yes they do, little kids are oblivious to the fact that barry bonds supposedly took steroids. plus he had HOF numbers before the time of suspicion whihc is 1998 so it doesnt really matter, it doesnt affect any of us in any single way. we are all going to go on with our lives whether he breaks it or not.

Why should he? No one else is. Besides he isn't the only one doing it. i'm sure they are players from your favorite team doing the same but i'm sure u looking the other way just like Met fans who booed Bonds but yet cheer for Mota even though he was caught red handed.

Why should he? No other player has. How can you compare Bonds to OJ? OJ killed two people, Bonds just took some drugs.
